18 July 2011, Queen Elizabeth 2 Hospital, Maseru, Lesotho. Puleng Hae gave birth to a healthy baby boy weighing 3 kg after an emergency Ceasarean Section was performed. When heavy bleeding started on Sunday morning (17 July 2011), her local hospital in Teyateyaneng transferred her by ambulance to the hospital in Maseru for surgery. She and her husband, Taelo, are both HIV positive but have taken every precaution for her newborn son to be born negative.
