One of the families who receive the quarterly household grant of M 360, is the Ntoi Family:- Grandmother Masakiya Ntoi (72) supports two grandchildren, girl - Tebello Ntoi (15) and boy - Lehlohonolo Ntoi (11) .There are now more than 180,000 orphaned children in Lesotho and 58,8% or people live below the poverty line. The Child Grants programme is part of a larger package of child services that will help protect vulnerable children in Lesotho.
